Co-founder of Clever Boxer, I’m a creative entrepreneur specialising in content across all platforms, events, training and consultancy.
Clever Boxer teaches business skills to creative types and creative skills to commercial people.
I started my journalism career in Edinburgh at The List magazine before moving to London and writing for Jockey Slut, Sleazenation, The Face, the Sunday Times Style magazine, NME, Muzik and others.
As a side project, I founded Trashed, the innovative, creative business-focussed magazine project for young inner-city Londoners, and have been running workshops since 2002.
After launching the Cabaret section in Time Out London – which was brought to life at the Deloitte Ignite 2009 festival at the Royal Opera House – I was features editor until 2012.
Until November 2014 I was Head of Guardian Masterclasses, a unique programme of learning embedded within one of the world’s most forward-thinking media organisations.
