I’ve had lots of job titles. Until November 2014 I was Head of Guardian Masterclasses, a unique programme of learning embedded within one of the world’s most forward-thinking media organisations.
I’m now focusing on my own business Clever Boxer which I founded with Alan Rutter, and which helps people to punch above their weight in the creative industries. We do this through events, consultancy, and however else people might want to pay us money.
I started my journalism in Edinburgh at The List magazine before writing for Jockey Slut, Sleazenation, The Face, the Sunday Times Style magazine, NME, Muzik and several Australian broadsheets.
I co-founded Trashed, the online platform for young creative people, and have been running workshops since 2002.
